"New 2 You" Clothing Swap: A Success!!
Blessings, everyone!
The "New 2 U Clothing Swap" was a huge success! There was personal one-on-one ministry and prayer, seeds were planted and watered in the sharing of the Gospel in word and deed, and there was one person that we're aware of that gave their heart to the LORD! The volunteers worked feverishly on Friday night as we set up the tables, sorted clothing and assembled the clothing racks. Shortly after 7:30 AM Saturday, the swappers began to arrive carrying bags and box loads of clothes!
One family even drove over from Titusville (and got lost on the way over!) to make a day's event out of the trip, and brought more that 200 pieces of clothing to swap! God raised up the workers who tirelessly sorted thousands of items, folded clothing, and got the items out to the swap tables throughout the day. At the end of the event, God in His infinite wisdom, sent reinforcements to help us clean up, vacuum and restore the room to its original order. It was a blessing for us to meet so many new faces in the community - and to serve alongside others who have a heart of service for the LORD! Everyone we heard from said how much they enjoyed the event and wanted to know when we would hold the next one.
A HUGE "THANK YOU" goes to You, Father, for unifying us as One Body - woven together like a beautiful tapestry, and allowing us to participate and partner with You in the plans and purposes You have for our community. You are an AWESOME GOD and there s NONE like YOU! PRAISE YOU, LORD!
A HUGE "THANK YOU" also goes out to everyone who helped to make this event such a success: by donating clothing, helping to get the word out, volunteering of your time and talents and supporting us in prayer.

* Thank you to our Aglow Area Board for continually encouraging, praying and supporting us - and to Jan and Dori, for being a part of our outreach event by being Aglow Ambassadors.
* Thank you to Child Evangelisim Fellowship for providing face-painting and ministering to the children through the Gospel.
* Thank you Pastor Phyllis and Community Life Center/Community Life Worship Center for your continual help and support.
* Thank you Pastor Carlos Martinez and the Warriors in Christ Ministry for all of your help and jumping on board right away and helping wherever/whenever needed.
* And thank you Deltona Christian Church for providing a beautiful, welcoming place for us to minister and serve the community.
